One of the nicest places to stay anywhere this side of the border.
Spent two nights here and loved it! We booked three rooms for our family for two nights. There was hot coffee, hot water and tea bags, and a big basket of assorted snacks available pretty much all day long. The owner took us into Palomas, Mexico Saturday morning. He took us to a delicious authentic Mexican restaurant his friend owns where we got our breakfast. Then he drove us around town, pointing out things of interest, told us what some of the Spanish signs meant, and ended by taking us to the "Pink Store" (a souvenir shop for tourists). Rates were reasonable, rooms clean and neat, the whole place very nicely furnished and tastefully decorated. Would give it 10 stars if I could. Will definitely go here again when I need lodging in the area. Thank you so much, Philip! I enjoyed my stay.
Note: the place is now called "Los Milagros" but is more commonly known by the name "Martha's Place Hotel" which it had until 2015 when Philip bought the business from his sister.
Our host Philip was friendly and his little inn was very accommodating. There was hot coffee and a basket of snacks available all day. Every room had an outdoor balcony and a bathroom with hot water. The rates were very reasonable.
What a great little hotel! Wonderful views of the mountains from the balcony. Clean and comfortable. The owner, Mr. Skinner, is super! Great value. Only minutes from Las Palomas, Chihuahua, Mexico. The lights of Palomas are clearly visible from the balcony.
Nice rooms. Under new management. Recently remodeled.
