Quiet RV park a stones throw from the Mexican border. Clean modern restrooms and showers. 2 great museums (1 in the park and 1 in town) tell the history of the area and Pancho Villa's deadly raid in 1916. Stayed here many times and never heard of any trouble. The park has spacious sites with desert vegetation. Some 50 amp sites now! And the best water around. All the sites are pull thrus.
The sites are beautiful. Pretty quiet at night. Not much to do in town. But a great spot to enjoy the outdoors. The Mexican border is 1 mile away. Visited the pink store xoxo
Park is nice, only stayed for a short while, gift shop only takes cash or check.
Across the border the "Pink Store" offers great food and souvenirs. The town also has numerous dentists and pharmacies that are a fraction of what you'd pay in the states.
The Parks Museum is one of the best small Museums that I have ever visited and shouldn't be missed if you are in the area.
Good WIFI at the library. A few small restaurants with good food. All within walking distance of the park.
Very nice state park. Very interesting museum telling about the history of the area. Friendly staff.
Enjoyed camping here because it provided access to many of the areas in South West New Mexico that I wanted to explore. The park is well laid out with sites that are easy to access, We were unable to get an internet or cell phone connection to our provider (AT&T). The only cell phone service we could see was from Mexico, limiting our use of electronic communications.
